I have an H-4 left-hand mag that I bought some time ago in order to have a spare mag for my MD. Once I got the mag service manual I discovered that this mag, with an -L suffix on the serial #, has a 35 degree impulse coupling for a 9 or 14 series gas engine. I would like to trade it for the correct mag for the diesel engines, which would have a -D suffix on the serial number, which indicates a 15 degree impulse coupling. I overhauled this mag and it looks and works great, I even lacquered the coil and distributor caps. I heard that these mags are rather rare.... any takers? You can write me here or at n9lhm at yahoo dot com. Brian
