My Uncle purchased a farmall I4, the manifold, Carb & distributor has been stolen off the tractor. I purchased a manifold from ebay from a person I have purchased a lot from and I have had good luck. It stated it fit a H, SH, 200, 350. My cousin his son, purchased a farmall H carb. The manifold lines up good but the carb is to small to bolt on the bottom of the manifold. I see where you purchase tractor parts that the carb for the H and SH are different but the manifold is the same? We think that the manifold is from a newer tractor than the H and that it takes a larger carb. I have a H I farm with and the carb number 6212DB on the side is the same. We can not make out the number on the manifold but the number on the inside next to the engine is 316A...We are in no hurry so any info on the manifold would be good I am sure we can sell it and get another or sell the carb and get a different one..

Thanks TOm in Maine

PS my Uncle who still farms (10 acres of Dried Beans) farms with two Farmall M's one of them is the tractor his father purchased when my Uncle was just 17

I just replaced the manifold on my '46 H. My parts guy says the old style is no longer available, but this one is made to fit several models. The holes for the carb mount are slotted for the different size carbs. I was concerned at first but all went well and she's never run better.

The newer aftermarket manifolds say that they will fit H and SH The only way I could think would be if there was extra holes drilled in the manifold to acept the smaller H carb You would move the studs in or something I sell them but have never looked at one . The H carb is smaller than the SH,300,350. If its a stock SH manifold you could always go with the SH, M carb. JON

Does your manifold look like this one? This is one of the aftermarket manifolds made to fit H through 350. I think the slotted bolt holes will fit all the carb sizes.. ken
