Does a late F-20 use the same wide front as a "39 M or H? Would one like an M or H bolt on an F-20?

The wide front from an H or an M will not work. The front bolster on the F-20 has to be the wide front end type where the bottom of the bolster ends with a flat plate much like an F-12/14 bolster. The steering bell crank bolts to this flat pad and in the case of a single front F-20, the fork bolts to it, again just like a F-12/14. Also, the casting that bolts the axle itself to the bolster is different. The things that are the same between the two are the axle casting itself, as well as the tie rods. Everything else is different.

I think so. remember the large steel plate that goes on the M? I think that was a conversion from the F20. You use the same wide front on the F20 without the plate.

Don't you have to have the short bolster on the F-20?
