Have the chance to buy a 1948 M with M&W live hydraulic pump, 9 speed transmission and live PTO clutch that all works good. Tractor also has schwartz wide front and home made 3 point hitch that works. What are the M&W accessories worth? Tractor is available for $2500

Best not be wasting your time reading this message, get the deal sealed. Kind of like blood in the water and sharks near by, some one else may have the cash in hand before you get there. Dave NE IOWA

Part it out to find out as Gene said,
I would guess the Schwartz front end is worth 1000.00-1500.00 itself, 3 point 3-400.00, M&W nine speed 2-300.00, Live hydraulic pump couple hundred, I would think, , live PTO on an M, priceless, so if you were to take off all the goodies, your could sell it and have a free tractor. I would say, unless you do not have a need to use this, it is worth every bit of what he wants.

Sounds like there is almost enough M@W stuff along with the wide front to bring the 2500 if you parted them out then the tractor would be free.Sure you can by a cheaper M but not have all those goodies. Its your money go for it sounds like a good deal.

Don"t know what M&W stuff goes for, but I don"t see a "48 M being worth $2500.

the M&W stuff is worth near that but in my neck of the woods that name wide front would take away from the price your decision-money probably a solid buy
