Hello, I got hold of a rusty block that I would like to use for my H. The block had been disassembled and left on end for a couple of years outdoors, and it doesn't have but alittle surface rust. Whats the best way to clean it up?, I kinda hate to use sand paper because that might mess up the tolerances, especially where the crankshaft bearings go. Should I wire brush what I can with a drill?.
Thanks in advance!

I would recommend using electrolysis, I've used this method for cleaning all our tractor and gas engine parts. Go to : Link for information on how to remove rust the easy way.
