Where can you buy a new 350 Utility radiator? I looked in my valuebilt catalog and they dont have any listed for a 350U. The IH dealer said he would have to look into it and call back...
Thanks

Mike:

If originality isn"t crucial, try checking with local speed shops. It isn"t unusual for racers to have custom aluminum radiators fabricated for their cars; maybe one of them can recommend a source.

Hi Mike, Did you ever get any prices on recoring
your old radiator? At least you would know what you have. We had ours recored since they were no longer available. The radiator shop we used has been in business for over 50 years. They're in MD.

The problem with ours is that the tank splits. They resolder it and it lasts for 1.5-2 years, then it starts leaking again. Every time we take it in the guys tells us "this is the last time I will be able to fix it...." We were hoping to just break down and get a new one to end the hassle but I guess that might not be an option...

Hi Mike, Give this company a call on Monday and ask them if can install a new tank. They only do radiators and automotive ac work. Their number is 410-676-1441 and the name of the company is McNew Radiator Service. They're located near the Edgewood Arsenal. Hal

You would think with the growing popularity of the 300/350U's somebody would offer new ones.Maybe eventually the manufacturers will catch up with the marketplace.

Not that I'm biased or anything (ha),but there needs to be far more parts offered for 300/350u's than there is.

Don't know about a NEW one but I just bought a raditor for my O-6 from Mike at Steel Wheel Ranch. It had been tanked, tested, painted and was guaranteed for about half of new price. You might want to check him out.

MERRY CHRISTMAS
