Have you figured out how to tell if they have low gears or not? Or do you have to take them apart and count the teeth? JON

I was reading some information on suffix letters and i believe there is several with low gears. Like x1a is a gasoline, x3a is kerosene, . Thanks for your information

Serial number will tell you, ..... X1F is high speed 4th, ..... ...X1A is low speed 1st. At least that is what I had read in one of the books.

Earl,

I've been stuck in low speed since about 1992. Don't know what to do about it either. :>)
