Anybody have one these very rare and collectable Super C-TA's ?

I heard that only two were made.
Number on chassies would be SC-TA 501 & 502.
They would look nice sitting next to my two Super M-TA's. ;o]

I've got to admit the flat top fenders don't look good to me on the H.

Nobody has mentioned the diesel Cub. Did they ever come with a T/A?

I happen to have an early Cub Diesel but it's not worth much, just has the belly pump.

Don't stop with the new tractors. How about a Titan TA?

Well, actually this one isn't quite as far fetched as you might think. Deere actually patented a planetary reduction gear for the John Deere D, which was real similar in design to some Mogul prototypes. The D-TA wasn't shift on the go, however- you put it on at the begining of plow season, took it off after. Never heard of it being production, but there is a U.S. Patent for the design. True Story.

Don't know why you would need that, sure it might give more torque to the back wheels , but them D's go slow enough as it is.

Gosh, the discussion around here has gone down hill. Are you sure some of you guys aren't politicians or bureauacrats?

Paul: Right after I read this about 3 hours ago, I went to my shop, spent 2 hours trying to figure out how to mount a TA in the torque tube of my Super A. I figured it may be quite important that I have TA now that my SA is relegated to mowing duty only. After much deliberation I decided the reason SA and SC never needed TA, was they had a better torque curve than the SH or SM.

Now my good better half, asked if I was planning on spending Christmas in the shop. She said,"You haven't done anything in that shop for 2 months and very little all summer, now with family coming for the holliday, you are going to spend all your time out there." I told her I was making some adjustments to my snow blade, getting ready for that next big blow of Lake Huron wind.

That she will believe, now if I can just get that cast torque tube to stretch. Problem is, it's got to stretch all one way as hydraulics will not fit in the fuel tank. I'll keep you posted, maybe I'll try fitting a John Deere power shift in there. That would turn the SA into a versatile mowing machine.

Yup. The atomic spark plugs look real nice when the lights are off in the shed. That way, I don't trip over the other junk and wake up Elvis when he camps out in the Dad's paint shop up front.
