I am looking to buy a belly mower for my B so I can get some use out of it. Priced one at a dealer and it was $1685.00.This was for a HB 59 woods mower. I was transfered to 3 people before I got somone that knew what I was talking about. Are there any places cheaper, as I thought this was high, but maybe that's what they go for now. He didn't know what came with it, I would hope this would include everything to attach it to the tractor. He also stated that it needed the left axle extension to work. He was getting the info from a computer and there were no pictures.Any ideas on this and where else to go?

The b and bn tractor are not a good tractor for the mower. your tires stick out too wide and run over the grass before you mow it. If you mount it to the left you have a hard time seeing where to cut.

Yes, I would like to see pictures of it. Does this include all attaching hardware? I am located in Abilene TX.

If William isn't interested in your mower, post back here as I might be.

Thanks,

William, Is your tractor a Regular B or a BN? I put a bellymount 72 on my B. It is plenty for the B if you get into taller grass, but if a person mows when they should it works really well.As for the extension on the axle if it is a regular B you are ready to go. The price seems a little high to me, but I bought my 72 a couple years ago for $1450 including the mounts and the mechanical hand lift. Where are you located? I could price one at my dealer if you are close enough. Mark

Hi William, I just spent the summer trying to find one for my C. The best deal I found was $1700 for the mower. $200 for the shipping cause they don't keep them in stock and $200 or more for all the brakets to make it fit my tractor. I ended up buying an H with a 6' woods on it for $200 more than what they wanted for just the mower. I drove all over looking at used ones and they where all used up, and I would have to fab brakets to fit mine.
