Are new exhaust pipes still available for a 55 300U? Right now I just have a piece of flexible exhaust tubing coming from the manifold down to the muffler.

I've got one on a parts tractor I'll sell you if
you want it. Let me know if you're interested.

Mine too, I looked at TSC they have the muffler only, the catalog doesn't show a pipe for the 300.
My visits to the IH dealer are revealing more and more parts now unavailable.

I think we will have to have a custom pipe made at a place like Midas or Car X. Will have to take some careful measurments and then make a sketch for them to use to make one.

I'd suggest getting yourself a piece of PVC conduit about the right size and bending it (heat it with a propane torch) to suit. Then take that to your muffler shop as a pattern. My muffler shop made me a pipe, flared the end like the stock pipe, and welded on a muffler and a little tailpipe section for about 50 bucks total. The pipe alone at the Case/IH place was more than that.
