Hi Dail, My old IH manual list's the governed speed of the C and Super C at 1875rpm's instead
of 1815rpm's. Not sure which is correct.

You can buy a hand tach and just hold
it against the center of the pulley when doing belt work with the tractor. You're between 1363 and 1400 rpm's. Hal

My operators book shows following specs for pulley:

8.5 in diam, speed 1,363 rpm gives 3033 ft per minute belt speed.

7.5 in diam, speed 1,363rom gives 2760 ft per minute belt speed.

These numbers assume pto speed of 539 rpm attained at maximum governed speed (full load).

The shaft runs around 1200-1400 this will be approx can vary if your gov is set to correct engine rpm at high throttle.
