I am replacing the engine gaskets on my 47 B and I pulled the Dist./Gov. drive out to clean it up.I've got it lined up the way the manual says ,but I was wondering if it is at TDC when it is all lined up the way it should be.I want to pull the distributor out to make it easier to clean.John.

John, If you have the dots lined up, and the DC line on the flywheel is lined up with the cast pointer on the inspection cover the rotor on the mag should be just past the number plug wire on your cap.
