Hey guys, I have a Farmall H engine thats stuck due to an uncovered manifold. Its down to basically the block, oil pan, timing cover, head and valve cover. The water jacket cover off the left side is gone but the other side cover is there. Was wondering what would be a good price to place on this as I really don't want to tear it all the way down. Block shows no signs of any cracks at all. Can send anyone a picture of it for reference. I believe it would make a good motor with a little work. Thanks in advance.

Looks like pieces on ebay is where it will go. We sold a lp H motor in the same condition as far as pieces goes the other day for $390.00 though, it was not stuck and the folks were tickled as they could be to get it, flywheel and all. The guy I sold it for sure was happy. I really hated to tear it all the way down but hey if thats what it takes, its what it takes.

you can sell good oil pans for as much as $50 if they are not rusty or dented. the castings aren't worth much, I get about $25 for untested heads and blocks.

Gary...You got a real nice boat anchor there. If you include a chain, I'll give you five for it.

I'd say a fella would give $50-100 for it. I mean the amount of work to bolt all the missing pieces on it and get it running.... yikes... If it were a running engine, ready to bolt on, then that is a completely different story.

Don't get your hopes up for any big dollars. I would make you an offer, but if you are in Texas, the shipping to Iowa would cost more than it's worth. Just my opinion, I think a ball park figure would be $25 to $50.
