I have a MCCormick Loader (trip bucket) on an M. I"d like to put it on my H. I measured twice today, and it looks like the spacing on the axels are the same. Only the overall lenght of the axel is different. Before I take the brackets and loader off the M, will it fit on the H?

Adam, e-mail me. I have scanned that section of the manual for the #31 loader into my PC. I will gladly send it to you.

Adam: I agree with Haas, only difference is width at front. Some of the older IH loaders didn't even require the spacer. They were adjustable to match either tractor. I'm thinking of models 30, 31 and 33.

I think the IHC loaders were made to fit either the M or the H, as were most of the other implements. However, the M chassis is wider at the front end than the H. Therefore when using the loader on the H, you have to have some spacers inside the loader frame where it bolts on at the front.

Conversely, will an IHC loader from an H with a WFE fit on an M with a WFE? I got my eyes on one.

I'm not familiar with the loaders for the WFEs, but I think if it is an IHC loader, and it fits and H, I think it would also fit an M as well. The width of mounting at front of tractor would I think be the key.
