I have an international 674, i forgot to match mark the counter rotating balancer gears with the crankshaft gear when I removed it I see a small center punch mark next to one of the teeth on the crankshaft gears but there is no mark on the smaller counter rotating gears how do i line them up with the crankshaft gear

Well I still dont know how to do it there seem to be no marks, owell guess ill just slap it back together and hope it doesnt shake to much

Put the engine on #2 tdc and look you will see a mark on the gear on the engine and two marks on the balancer.

Call your local IH dealer and see if they will fax or mail you a copy of the counterbalancing gears on that 674 that is displayed in their shop
manual. They should have a picture that shows how
to mate thse gears. Hal

There is a mark of some kind, I can't think what or where it is, it is in manual, and has to be timed!!!. I can't check mine today (manual). But if you still need info Wed. E-mail me.
