Has anyone ever seen a 140 with 13.6x24 tires. I was down the road and chatting with a gent who had his grandfathers 140 and he said the only modification he had made was adding 13.6x 24 tires to the original rims. I looked and sure enough ,there was some honking monsters on there. He said she ran fine with them. Does anyone know if that is no big deal or if there would be issues with it. From my understanding, factory was 11.2x24 for 140s and I have 12.4x24s on mine with no problem. Thanks Ramon

Ramon: It will work fine if you go to a 12" rim. On the 10" rim they probably wont pull as good as the 11.2. I have 12.4 on my 130 but with 11" rims.

Hugh, What was the largest rim that came from the factory for the 140? Thanks Ramon

Ramon: Largest was 10" x 24", but you can buy larger blank rims today and put mounting brackets in to suit. There are numerous places to get larger blank rims. Just where you can buy the mounting brackets I'm not sure. A CaseIH partsman got the ones I have but I understand they no longer have them.

Miller Tire have mounting brackets for old style front rims both 15" for SA, SC, 100, 130, 200 and 230 and 16" for SH, SM, 300, 350, 400 and 450.
