In the movie The Color Purple is that a 1020 they have in the show? It looks like one this one doesn't have fenders it is on rubber also and and towards the end of the film when it shows ole Mr Albert driveing it and it looks like it has a hand clutch. Have any of you seen this? I am guessing it is a 1020 am I right?? R Wyler

10-20,15-30 or 22-36 Went by pretty fast if I remember right. All those tractors have a long break lever too. That may be what looks like a clutch.

Ok Sloroll thanks for the info I was wondering about that lever. I though it was too small for a 15-30 or 22-36 though I could be wrong. Isn't a 1020 smaller than the 15-30 and 22-36? R Wyler

Yup sure is smaller. I saw the movie years ago and of course was drawn to the tractor immediatly but it wasn't on long. Once near the beginning it was sitting then later a quick clip of it driving. I'm too tight to rent the movie to double check... besides I'm not a big Whoopy fan (actress, not anyother form) anymore. Bill

Ok I was sure it was smaller. I own the movie and I like it GRIN. I think it is a 1020 it looks not it's much bigger than a fordson. Yes it showed it earlier in the film and that millie gal was so stupid she ran into it with her car. Then it showed it again at a distance and in that scene it really looked like a new one. I wonder where that 1020 is now. R Wyler
