Or was it just the International version(wheatland standard version)? I noticed a few posts down a guy who posted a picture of a wheatland 806 with MFWD. Did the row crops have that option? And how many were actually equipped with MFWD? I have a Farmall 806 that I will be completely rebuilding with a few goodies I would like to put on including the MFWD front axle if possible. How difficult would it be to find such an axle?

For about the last 6 to 8 months this salvage yard has had a 806 with MFWD for sale that ran good and no takers, but just when somebody looking one it's off add. I'll call to see if it's still available. Allan

The Elwood axles are still in high demand, as they fit everything from the 706 on up through the 3688. It'll be near impossible to find one that isn't being used, and isn't scrap. We've been looking for one for the 1066 since 1980.

If I remember correct, they were made by Elwood Co.
The few I have ever seen also did not turn very short at all.It seems to me that there was not a
lot of them produced,I'm sure someone else here
will know more specifics on them.

I know where a good one is sitting in the grass. How much do you think it is worth?

Drop me an email and you tell me. Where are you located? There is a difference between one on the 06-56 series tractors and one on the 66 series. We have been looking for one for our old 806. It was Dad's tractor and him and I were wanting one when we restore it. Plus, it would be handy for the loader.
