We have 5 300/350U's. They all hold 13 1/2(w/o P.S.) & 13 3/4 (with P.S.)

My 300U owners manual says 13-1/2 quarts without power steering and 13-3/4 quarts with power steering. Hope this helps.

My manual says 18 quarts for the hydra-touch system. Is there a difference between model years?

Don't know, maybe someone else can help out on this. Is your manual for a 300 Utility, and not a "regular" Farmall 300?

My manual just says "International Harvester 300 Utility". Even under the draining and refilling step by step directions it specifies 18 quarts less cylinders".

Thanks
