Haven"t really seen to many H s with fenders. thought about putting a set on my 42 but not realy sure if they came on that year. What year did they first come with them ?

JRB, it depends too where you live, an H or an M without fenders is rare in southern Ontario, about 90% at tractor shows have fenders, both H's I bought and my Dad's M have fenders, it seems to me that southern US tractors are more likely to not have fenders...the way I see it anyway...Mike in Exeter Ontario

Fenders were an option in all years, far as I know. Some people insist on them, some don't like them. I've seen more without than with, just what you are used to. It's easier to get on and off without them.

It is my understanding that here in MI it was a state requirement that all tractors have fenders of some nature. You do not see many in MI without fenders. The dealer I worked at from 1952-1984, all new tractors sold had fenders or cabs. Ohio on the other hand did not have such a requirement.
