Allan, Sorry to read late last night that you got beat out on that C60. There are just some auction there everything goes higher than it should.
Anyway, There is still lots of time to look and hunt.....! Note...There is a huge consignment auction held @ Plainview, Tx. Around the first of August every year. I think the 5-Star Auctioneers hold it. I think thay are out of Dalhart,Tx, or I bet that Plainview C. of C. could get their #.
Just a thought. Have fun Looking.
Later,
John A.

Aw heck John,

Not to worry. I'm just going along picking up all this equipment here and there as I find it.

The 15,000 miles is what caught my eye and it was a pretty fair old truck. But, flip the coin and that old gal has had a lot of short trips on 'er and the sound of the engine indicated the fact. I just didn't think the gizmo was worth a price of 10 grand.

Even the old 1961 Chevy 1 1/2 ton 6 cylinder brought $2700 with a tired old wooden box. That one to my mind was right at $2K too high.

Always another one around the next corner. :>)

Allan

These guys on the link below have 4 big sales every year. Probably too late to get to today's auction, but worth checking into. At times there are some real bargains. PS: Just to qualify for the Farmall Forum, I see there is a F20 on the auction today.☺☺☺
