Hey guys,
My hired help and I are getting ready to part out a Farmall C he has on LP gas. Was just wondering if this was a aftermarket add on, field conversion or what??? We just happened to see another one that was LP a day or so ago.

Well, its an old C that is locked up and the steering is even froze on it. It is complete however with cultivators on it. Its not a very clean conversion by any means. the mounts for the lp tank look real rough and of course as I said the motor is locked up and the steering as well. Hood is cut to allow for the lp tank. Grill got a little smushed when we moved it, hated that but an accident, I think we can make it look presentable though.

Gary, I echo the others.....May I suggest, If you don't change your mind an rebuild this ol girl, At least Keep the LP System. And maybe put it on another C Farmall. It would make a great conversation piece. Just because of the oddness of it. I have never seen a C on LP. The tank assembly would be surenough unique. Think about keeping it!.
Later,
John A.

Hate to hear you are parting that out. We had one on the farm in NM and it was great. I remember the original gasoline tank laying in our junk pile after my grandfather put it on LP.

Factory didn't make them, so it was a conversion. More common on H's and M's. Hate to see that parted out unless it's junk.
