The standard seat on the H from Ser. # 15698 included a spring which as I understand is about 6" high and about 2.5" in diameter. IH part # 48930 D. C-IH does make or selll the spring. Does anyone know of an after market manufacturer or a substitute spring made for another piece of equipment that could be used and have approximately the same tension. This not a conical spring as used on the Monroe seat or the accessary hydraulic seat. Thanks for any replies.

What is really a thrill is when the bolt going through it breaks. The nut and spring cap go up past your nose while you are dropping. You can't drop very far, but it sure gets your attention.
