A while ago I posted a question about whether left and right hand brake levers were interchangeable on old Farmalls. Someone mentioned that they were different parts, but that a left lever could be adapted to use on the right side. Could anyone provide more information or even a photo of this being done. Also, why did IH supply only one hand bake lever as standard equipment? It seems to me that they are times when you really need that right hand lever. Or was it possible to activate both brakes from the one lever?

Both brakes: steering wheel full right turn, pull left lever. This if you still have brake cables to front steering post arm connected/working.
