I posted an add for a 2 point hitch yesterday on the classified adds. One off of a 560 will also bolt right on. It makes a much handier tractor for yard use.

I have three MTAs with fast hitch.

(1) Uses 560. Totally bolt-on. 450 is the same
(2) Uses 400. Made bracket for rock shaft
(3) Uses 400. Changed out tranny lid for one off a 400.

All tractors have a three spool valve that bolts to battery box in a vertical arrangement.

you need a 450 style fast hitch. the one for a 400 won't work because the platform isn't made to mount the lifting cylinder.

Only a very, very few SMTA's came with factory fast hitch & then bing-the 400 was introduced. Most you see with FH have had one added on from a 400; they have rigged valves & controls. When I was a kid in 1954, I remember a photo ad in THE FARM JOURNAL showing a SMDTA-FH and the hood decal was such. Never saw one in real life.

Warren SMTA never came with fast hitch but I understand early one for 400 will work so you will have to find junked 400 or just the hitch.

First off you should know that they wern"t actually made for the MTA. With that said you can get one from a 400 - 560 and maybe newer that will bolt on. I would figure on a minimum of $500.
Steel Wheel Ranch is a name I"ve seen a lot in connection with satified customers on this site. The unit for the 400 is a little more complex and also more scarce. I have one from a 560 on my 400 and on my MD and they work great. Good luck
