Just received this book as a gift and spent some time today reading and learning more about this series of I.H. tractors. Very well done Mr. Fay. I so appreciate the hours put into it. I have 5 tractors from this era and hope to continue to build. One quick question. Were the power adjust wheels a standard feature on any of the models or just an option. Ihave seen them on Farmall literature on 450,460 and 560 models. Thanks

If I remember correctly, ALL the wheels and tires in the hundred series were considered options by IH- there was a default if you forgot to specify the wheels and tires on an order, but other than that it was a free for all, the customer got what he or she wanted.

Were there very many of these power adjust wheels made for Farmalls. What are they worth? Do they make a restored tractor worth more? It appears from the pictures that most were used on 14 or 16 inch rims. Thanks

Production numbers- very little surviving numbers remain on options like this. Values? I've never heard the power adjust wheels mentioned.
