Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. You are some great people! I have both 6v and 12v batteries.
MY new charger is what I always wanted. When set to auto. charge and on 2 amp. charge is there a way that I could overcharge the batteries?

Two amps would be considered a trickle charge rate. If the battery were fully charged and you continued to charge it at a two amp rate, the battery might give up some water, but this would take a LONG time. You will not harm the battery unless you let the battery charge unattended at this rate for prolonged times. I mean for longer than several days - without at least checking the electrolyte level.

Hi Charles, If your charger is like mine the rate
of charge will drop as the battery charge rises.
Just be careful to set the selection switch on 6v
or 12v when doing different voltage batteries.
Using a hydrometer to measure specific gravity
will give a good indication of your battery condition. Good Luck, Hal
