Allan, Yea I know! But after you get done doing everything to yours..... I pick yours!! After you are all said and done you are still a long way from 14K, I still say yours is a Sweetheart. Also with extra to fix the odds and ends that slip by you are that you have to go back to.....sayyyyy ... those axle mount duals. How is the front end, center piviot bushing, the ball is it tight? The tierod ends too. Is there a set of front wts. and bracket for it at that mans barn?
When May I borrow it to pull my 13shank chiesel. I can break it in for you !!!LOL Looking forward to you next update for us.
Later,
Happy Thanksgiving, Ya'll
John A.

Mornin' John,

Hey! You're pretty sharp!

Yes, there is slop in the power steering piston vertical mounting pin and it also needs a kit in the front end horizontal pivot pin. The tie rods, ball socket and the rest of the front end are nice and tight. Gotta get that one multi-ribbed tire swapped for a tri-rib too (luckily, I've got a new one left over from the 686 project).

Only big boo-boos so far are that engine, of course, and the low (1500 lbs) pressure of the rear hudraulic pump. Gotta get this problem straightened out before we hook on to your chiesel.

Clean and repack the front wheel bearings and dance thru the brakes. Other than that, it is pretty much a 'clean and paint 'er' kind of deal.

Allan,
