Fixing worn seat pivot on Super C

YTers,
What is the best way to fix a worn seat pivot on a Super C? Mine looks like somebody has installed a metal bushing; if you keep the bolt snug, it is fine, but after a few minutes of bouncing around it loosens up and then the seat has a lot of side-to-side play in it.
Thanks,
Bill

As others said, get new rubber bushings and the metal center piece with bolts (if you need the metal parts) from OEM or IH. Getting those rubber bushings in there is a real challenge!! Probably why some one put in the metal ones. Let me know if you figure out an easy way to get those rubber bushings in.

One of the M's I use the most has a very worn seat. I find it hurts my back less than other tractors after a day's work in the field because the seat floats around and does not get jerked side to side with every bump.

So I don't fix 'em.

Just tighten the bolt and tack-weld the nut...nah, just kidding! Like the others mentioned, OEM tractor parts has the new bushings in their catalog...just got a new copy in the mail last week. Either that or I'm pretty sure they're still available at your local IH dealer as well.

OEM should have them, so does Case-IH -- pick the cheapest ones, replaced mine a couple of years ago.
