Does anyone know if and how you can reattach the small mounting posts to the back of the metal side emblems?

I used clear silicone caulk. So far so good. I had one side that the studs were broke off on, and I just dobbed some caulk to the back of the emblem.

Reido,

Yep, that is just what I was gettin' ready to say.

That is an old body shop trick; those guys been doin' that for years with emblems (especially the ones where they can't reach in behind to put the pal nuts on). :>)

I'm 100% positive it's impossible. No glue will put up with the stress, and the emblems are made of some weird "pot metal" material that doesn't weld.

Not quite the answer to your question but I've seen many that were pop riveted in place. Dick Davis
