Does anyone sell the screen material that goes in the grille on a super C? It was spot welded in. How do I attach a new piece (if it is available)?

I use the Hardware Store varity (Hail Screen, Hardware Cloth)and have a masonry/stone 3" wide chizzle that works just fine to form the screen around the ribs. Then I use a pair of 3" clamping type vice grips to hold it in place while JB Weld cures to hold the screen in place on the ribs.

P.S. No one has ever noticed the screen is not the orginal size.

MARKS TRACTORS has it for 14.00 per tractor. The trick is bending and making the little clips that go over the bars. Some use a rubber cement that is used for fastening windsheilds and it works good. I would like to find that ACE store as 1/8 and 1/4 is common but you need the 3/16 stuff.

Go to ACE hardware they have screening close enough to original. Usually kept at the service desk and is about 2.00 a foot.
