I am not excatly sure on that one but I have asked an expert and will let you know as soon as he gets back to me.I deal mainly in H4 and J4 IH Mags. I know the H4 replaced the F4 and some parts are the same but thats far as my knowledge goes on that one. SORRY JON

Hi Keven, This is what the other mag man had to say hope it helps. JON
aluminum case and a black magnet. Be sure to put the IHC trademark on the magnet on the same side of the case as the serial number. This is for proper polarity N/S of the magnet. Saves a little on the points from making mountains or craters.

The Navy painted theirs light grey top and darker grey under wings & fuselage, when the Air Froce bought the Phantom they painted it camoflage and put in a second set of flight controls. I can understand the camoflage but why does it take to Air Force guys to do what one Navel Aviator did? Been there done that.

I don't know. When I was in the Air Force, I flew on C-54's, the military equivalent of the DC-4. It had a pilot and copilot and a flight engineer that sat between them in the jump seat, who worked the wing flaps, prop and throttle controls. My understanding is that the Navy version (don't remember the number) had only a pilot and copilot, don't know about the civilian version. This doesn't have much to do with tractors.

CNKS sure doesn't have anything to do with tractors, but I need to stretch my memory as often as I can. Dickl Davis
