would like to add 2nd remote to 656. she only came with one :(. is there a place to tap in for power beyond? or does someone have a pattern for fabricating a plate that would go where the 2nd control valve on tractors so equiped would go? or is the price of the second valve plus core charge just as much as rigging something up?
tractor is farmall model with 3pt and single remote.

also having cavitation problems with the steering/ta pump on a 1256. it hardly ever primes up so there is no steering or tranny rotation. we have some messy tricks, but wondering if there is a place to tap into the hitch pump to get an initial burst of pressure to prime it right away until we can arrange to have the pump replaced and the mcv serviced. thanks

Mornin' Karl,

That 656 should be just an easy bolt-on of the second unit. It should marry right to the first; I can get you some pictures after it gets light outside if you like.

I think you have the 1256 nailed; sounds like it needs a pump because you shouldn't have to be priming it.

Have you tried running the 3-point up and holding the two remote levers at the same time to try to get the tractor to go into 'full system pressure' to fill that pump?

Hi again Karl,

Still pretty dark out there, but maybe you can see from this picture how these things just "piggy-back" to one another. You can stack 'em as deep as you need.
