I seen a McCormick 22 combine for sale that has been sitting outside for a number of years but looks to be complete. Also has a 4cyl motor on it, but stuck of course. The guy wants 350 dollars for it. Says it will scrap out for that, I don"t think scrap price is that high! Whats your opinions? Its quite an akward looking machine and I bet would be harder to haul home. Thanks

There's a few around, but not many folks are collecting IH combines yet due to the large amount of shed space they take up and the difficulty of getting them to shows. However, when you get a restored combine to a show, they do draw a lot of attention. The Allis folks are collecting combines like crazy right now.

A 22 is the older style "Prarie" type combine that hasn't been made for about 50 years. They weren't made in big numbers at the time, very few must survive, but there are a few out there.
