Help guys, I just bought a real nice 560 wheatland propane and don't know nothin' about nothin'! Like how many of these were made? Also I am going to have to learn to run it. I can smell propane leaking so will have to asess that issue first. My landlord has propane tractors and his idea is to turn both the liquid and the vapor full on and leave them there forever, says when he used to turn them on and off he was constantly renewing the valve packing. What do you guys do? I'll post a pic of this beauty tomorrow.

I work around a lot of propane forktrucks and clamptrucks. Everyone of them smells of propane to me. The mechanics say I'm too sensitive. Wm

Every propane tractor I was ever around smelled like propane. I think it is just the nature of them. Get a squirt bottle full of soapy water and shoot all the fuel lines and fittings.
