Got the ole M to the barn, fixed what was wrong this morning, well finished up just a little bit ago after an exremely early morning,12 pots of coffee, and busted knuckes out the wazzo, only stopped a few times to eat, check things out here, and wait on brother to get back from town with parts.Axle housing and axle replaced, both frame rails, new rad,fan and shround, had to replace one front hub,but learned afterwards that whole front end will have to be changed. The remote Christmas tree was broken off when the tractor came off the trailer,so that had to be removed, now the hydraulics wont go down. The 3 pt survived and I was using the remotes on it.I can get it up,but not down.Thought it wad bond up or something bent, but if I crack the line loose the 3 pt goes down as the oil drains out the line, which could be why the remotes were on there to start with.Any ideas as to why the 3 pt wont go back down?

The Christmas tree will give you up and down pressure, you should use a 2 way cylinder. If you removed the Christmas tree, you have one way hydraulics, meaning you need one pressure line going to the cylinder, with the other cylinder connection vented. The 3 point then drops by gravity. However, I do not know if that is what you mean.

If the cylinders are two way then you either have oil in one side or air. You will need a vent on the cylinder side that you are not using.

You have a 2-way cylinder and needs pressure to go up or down.

Check the bleeding screw on where you add hydralic oil and see if it is open to let air out, that maybe the problem.

Its not the cylinders.I used the same three point with a belly pump on my other tractor. This one had the remotes so I plumbed it in on that. When I tokk off the remotes I plumbed back for the belly pump. Its not the bleeder screw,I have taken the cap off and it still stuck in the up position.I took the control rod off and the lever went all the way foward.
