I have come into a farmall H series with a wide front end loader. I don't know if the loader is farmall or generic but the pump for the hydrolics is on the would be passenger side. It has a small shaft with gears on it and i would assume that it would hook into the block. If anyone has any diagrams on the hydrolic system for the loaders for these please email me or reply asap.
Thanks A lot
Tony

Used to see an H @ state fair in Huron w/loader that had a pump that was chain drive & ran off the front of the crank pulley. It was on the left side. I have a parts H that has a hole in the frame & chain sprocket on the front crank pulley, assumed it was for a hydraulic pump to run a loader. I know where there is an M with a similar set-up. Is this what you have? Where are you in SD? I'm in Mitchell. (My $0.02 worth. jal-SD)

The pump you are talking about is a live hydrolic pump that mounts between the distributor and front timing cover and is run directly off of the crankshaft.

never seen one but i've heard of auxiliary pumps that are chain driven off the front of the crankshaft.
