Pulley diameters listed for the W-9:

8-1/2, 9-3/4, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16-1/2, 18, 19-1/2. All are 8-1/2" face width with the 14" being the standard size supplied with the belt pulley attachment.

Several different diameters were available to allow you to achieve the belt speed desired (in feet per minute). Different machines required different belt speed.

Warren: with respect to the W-9, there really is no 'correct' diameter. The reason I state this is that there are about 8 diameter options listed for the W-9 in the operators' manual. Going on memory, I believe the standard diameter is 14". I will try to remember to look this up and post again when I get the manual in hand.

I don't know about the SMTA.

12 x 8 1/2
