with draft lever in light raise/lower lever does not do anything to 3pt and using auger even with heavy draft and raise/lower lever down auger goes down really slow

We had the same problem with our 454. It was a piece of dirt in the valve.

Hi Dan,

Does your draft have a "run" position? If so, put the draft lever there to get that draft control clear out of the picture; it's messing you up.

A posthole digger sure isn't a 'draft' implement.

Allen thanks for the response, the draft just has a heavy or light position. pulling the impliment raise or lower lever alone wont raise or lower it completly by its self

hello. first whats the weight of the auger. is it too light. check your valve body for dirt check the presure at the valve body on the return line first before you pull it all out.
how long have you had the 454 is this problem always existed ?
