I found 3 or what looks to be 3+ Farmall B's in various stages of disassembly. The trustworthy seller says there is enough there to complete 2 tractors with lots left over. What would you pay for this?

Nothing to perhaps a couple hundered dollars - I'd have to look everything over first. I would offer to haul the junk off for free. Even if you get them for little or nothing you are going to have to spend a lot of time and perhaps more than a few dollars to get one in running condition. My opinion the only way to come out ahead money wise on this is to purchase them for next to nothing then part them out.

One has to wonder why the seller has three disassembled tractors.

Why do you want a B Farmall? Bs are nice little tractors, I owned one. But, there are much better work tractors than the B.

I'm all for doing my own work, but I get a little tired of people trying to sell stuff that "just needs this..." I tell them if it's so simple, you put the few necessary hours into it and I'll buy it, paying you for your time. The story usually changes then. The parts may indeed all be there to put two tractors together but be SURE of that before buying. Glenn
