What is the best way to sell at a fair price, a like new IH Cub, completly professionally restored? The investment was around $7500 and well over 1000 hours labor. It's been in storage for several years, used very little since restoration, photos on request. Location is Borrego Springs CA about 95 miles for LA or San Diego.

I know everybody will take issue with me but that may be a fair price if it is LIKE NEW , PERFECT contition. I am sure that there are a few of them out there that are PERFECT, LIKE NEW but without seeing it who can say either way.

1000hrs=6mo@40HR week way to much invested to come out on this deal. Should not take this long to restore a CUB. I restore As and Bs and there is no way i could spend that much time on one.

How about some more info on that tractor. Are you the owner? All original? What's the serial?Who restored it? You quote $7500 invested. That's parts and labor I assume. Any implements? Implements will help the sale. I'm wondering why someone would invest that kind of money and then sell it. For what you'll get it should be kept in the family. You cannot expect to get anything close to $7500. Sad to say, but thats the way it is with old tractors. The cubs sell pretty good. If it looks like new, shines like new, runs like new, all there, all original, documented as to parts installed, new tires, etc., etc., you might start at half that $7500 and fully expect to come down, quite a bit likely, if you don't get lucky.

Like new restoration? Maybe 1/2 of parts $= about $3700.00. This is about price of new large lawnmower. Cub prices are a bit ridiculous now. Market $2500.00 to $5000.00 for restored posted past year various places. Sell Ebay? Local auction with high reserve? Sale offer on board here? All of above? RN.
