I have a Farmall 504 gas tractor. Looking for parts for my tractor I see parts for International 504 tractors. What are the diffences between Farmall 504's and International 504's? Are there any parts that are interchangeable?

Most engine parts and some transmission parts (bearings, etc, probably not all gears) are interchangeable. The engines may have different governors, or at least they are adjusted to different RPM's. Some hydraulic and power steering parts are interchangeable, some not. The sheet metal is probably not interchangeable. That said I am not that familiar with either one, except that is generally the case with most IH row crop (the Farmall that you have) and utility tractors (International). There were 4000+ more utilities than row crops built, that shouldn't make much difference in parts availability. Many people call Farmalls International. Your dealer will have parts for both, just tell him or whoever you are dealing with which you have.

A Farmall 504 is a row-crop tractor and the International 504 is a utility tractor. Many parts interchange and some don't. A parts list would be a big help.
