Anyone out there know the size of an IH 915 cleaning system? Like the number of square inches, etc... from a product spec sheet. I am trying to compare the cleaning capacity of the older machine to a newer IH rotary combine. I mainly want to know the size of the cleaning area, sieves, etc..
Thanks in advance.

Cleaning area of 915 4740 sq. in.
Cleaning area of 1460 4621 sq. in.
Cleaning area of 1480 6246 sq. in. As you probably know the comparison between separating area between and rotary and a convention does not tell you much. 915 sep area is 7800 sq. in. while the sep area for a 1480 is 5280. I have not operated a 915 but it is not much larger than a 503 and there is a big jump from a 503 to a 1480. Good luck and happy hunting.

Thanks!

Yeah, I am trying to help someone with a "visualization" of the cleaning systems, and size of grain pans/sieves. Comparing rotary and conventional is like apples and oranges as you have pointed out.

Thanks!
