How hard is it going to be to find a WD or WK-40? I would think that a WD is going to be much harder to find. Suspect that the Western US is going to be the place to look. Any thoughts?

You will find it hard to find a diesel. The gassers are around and the guys that have them like mee have multiples and are willing to sell the extras. The WDs are another story, They are around but you have to be very luckey or rich to buy one that runs good and they are not that easy to get running and running good if you find a tough one. They were a big tractor in their day so look for big acreages or alot of sawmills.

I have 4 WK 40 they will range $5000 up to $6000. The prices are that high because the engines are totally rebuilt with less that ten hours on them thats on the two that are painted the one that is original is a very nice one and there is a glider kit one that doesnt havr the original motor and is still in under construction. I have three diesels an early a middle and a late one. I know of two more for sale one in canada for 9500 one in ct for 14000 also an ID40 early model something mismatched about the numbers that supposedly runs on gas for about 6000
