Several weeks ago some body had a post on here saying they would have to cut a hole in the hood to mount the PS pump. I have a Charlyn pump that mounts on the govenor. I will trade for the one that mounts on manifold.I think they are inter changeable. Thanks Boyd

Thanks Allan -You know that is not what I wanted to hear. I went out and looked at my H and you are right, not enough room. Thanks Boyd

The original installation did require cutting a hole in the hood on the H. I always thought that method showed a lack of creativity, I think you could modify the mounting brackets so the pump would mount a bit lower, and maybe even to the outside of the tractor , and not have to destroy the hood.

Hi Boyd,

The big boys tell me that the governor mount, belt driven Char-Lynn pump only fits the M as there is not room on an H.

For what it is worth, I guess.

Allan
