The distributor lobes on my 1951 Cub have worn out. Two lobes will open the points, one will almost open them and one does nothing. What can I do or where can I but this part. I don't want to but the complete distributor if I don't have too.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I have never ever heard of the lobes wearing down. Are you sure that you don't have a worn out shaft bearning that is allowing the shaft to wobble??

Big John, I have never heard of the lobes wearing out either. The bearings are in perfect condition. A friend of mine that runs the machine shop a work said "Yes, two are smaller than the other two." Everyone that I have talked to are just as amazed as we are. That is why I came to Y'all.
