Got a "44" model that I am still working on to get it like I want it to be. My wife says the tractor is already in better shape than I am.

I have 12 of them. Most do not run. My running H's include a 1942, 1945, 1947, and 1951. My last purchase was a 1945 in great shape. I am so excited for it.

I have a 1952 H. I don"t know the whole history, but assume it has been in the area since new as I went to a show recently and saw another H of the same year 12 serial number digits higher than mine. Mine is restored except that I could use a matching set of rear tires. Waiting for that vintage Goodyear sure-grip to mysteriously appear from out of nowhere. Short of that, I"ll probably end up some day paying Miller"s price for a new pair.

I have one tractor....a 1944 "H". It runs good and looks pretty good. I am retired and have nothing for it to do except for the occasional run around the neighborhood. Gradually I make improvements.

It would be fun to magically know how many of the "H"s are still running. As said by others, it must be many thousands.

I've had 4, but only have one now... a '48.

The ones that are gone now were a '40, '44, and '49.

I've been cutting down... I'm down to 24 tractors now.

I think they are all shown on the net somewhere.

I own a '53 Super H. My next door neighbor and my father in law each also own a '53 SH.

An outfit in nearby however has 25 or so H's/Super H's (along also with some 300's, M's, 400's, etc) they've modified for municipal sidewalk snowplowing.

Punch below for a pix of a few of this unique "fleet"

Hey CNKS,
That means each one only needs to take care of 1/3 acre!

I mow with the Super A, spray with the C, move snow with the M (no snow in over a year), the H needs a couple of thousand in repairs, currently working on the disassembled 460, Super H is just finished, maybe use it for snow, if any. Don't have enough land to get them to operating temperature.
