Hi Cajunace,
I can help you identify your tractor. Where are you located? I'm in Carencro.

Thanks,
Glen

I know where Plaisance is, how far off HWY-10 are you? Have you found out what model tractor you have? What is the condition of your tractor? Do you plan to restore it?

Glen

You will have to give us the letters ahead of the number as well, and a description of the tractor. Do you sit beside the transmission, or above it? Wide front or narrow etc.

the letters FAA-v are stamped under the #"s. i sit beside the trans.the front tires are almost as wide as the backs. one older fellow told me that it probably was used in the cane rows way back, because it is a little taller.

It"s a Farmall AV, but the FAAV should be before the number, not under it. Check for the whole #, sometimes wetting it helps. How many numbers follow the first four?
