Saw this one at the tractor show in Tombstone, AZ. last Saturday. It was born the same year that I was - but it's probably in better shape. Bet the original owner wished he'd had that seat, eh?

You might be surprised to hear that the seat you are talking about could very well be original. IHC offered a special cushion seat for the F-20 as well as many other of it's current tractors. If original, that is a very rare seat, and from what I can see in your nice picture, it is exactly like the one in the parts book. The only thing wrong is that the cushion is a little too thick. The tractor looks pretty nice too! If it's a 1934 model it should have been a Duckbill model. Was it?? Also the front rims were for a 1938 or 1939 F-20 but who's complaining. The rear rims look like they could be Kay Bruner rims out of Los Angeles. These are much more common out west that back he in the middle of the country. Amazing what one little picture will show!

I agree with Mike. Cool seat! What is with the return line from the back of the camshaft to the oil pan? Narrow tread like a regular on a 34? Maybe I look to close?

Can't tell you anything about it; I just took the picture. Thought it was neat that we are the same age.
