Ok, we have a Farmall 706 and it's in poor condition(paint, new wiring, guages, and lights) While i was at it i figured i should give it some power and put a turbo on it. What turbo would fit this manifold..if you need measurements i can get them? Where could i get a turbo for it? And do I need a new hood because of the diferent exhaust placement? My uncle put a Turbo on his 966 and needed the right side of the hood off of a 1466. So please help me with any advice you have!!
thanks
Cody

Diesel or gas? Nobody's asked that yet.

You're not going to find a NEW turbo unit for it unless you luck out and find something NOS. Be prepared to pay more than the tractor's worth, though.

With a little creativity, I'm sure you could probably adapt a turbo off something more common. Whether it'll fit under the hood is another question.

First off, do you have a 282 or a 310? A good auto body man could probably make the sheetmetal modifications for you.

Cody Ih made a kit for the 706 with the D282 had to put different hole in hood. M&W made a kit that used the same hole in the hood but today I don't know.
